Philadelphia Street Murals

Last weekend, we visited Sam and Casey in Philadelphia. We had only been downtown once before, so it was fun to walk around, both in the city center and in West Philly. I also found lots of things to photograph, most especially large murals, which seemed to pop up almost everywhere there was a large, wall on the side of a building.

As you can see, the quality of this art is quite good. Very bright colors and interesting scenes. I also enjoyed taking photos of the tall, modern buildings in the city center, which provided lots of interesting angles and reflections. But that’s another blog post.
