This acrylic painting is 5th in the Urban Patterns series, which is inspired by shapes and geometric forms in urban environments. In this painting, I used a palette knife and paint scrapers to create some of the lines and edges. 12 x 12 inches.
Just sold! But you can still pick up a canvas or metal print.
Layered acrylic washes and ink on watercolor paper. For this piece, I first put down some light acrylic washes and arcs using acrylic ink. On top of these, I then layered more opaque colors and a few splatters.
Prints, etc. here.
Just put this one together a couple of days ago. It is about two feet long, but less than eight inches from top to bottom, leaving out the length of the chain. The largest wood triangles are about four inches long/wide. So, even though it has some large pieces, this mobile can fit into a relatively small space with low ceilings. It throws some interesting shadows too.
